Gymora account and data controls
Delete your Gymora account and associated data
This public page is for Gymora users. You do not need to sign in to submit an account-deletion request.
Account deletion request
Follow these steps
- Select Request account deletion below. Your email app will open with a prepared request.
- Send the request from the email address connected to your Gymora account when possible. Enter that account email in the message.
- Keep all three requested scopes in the message: authentication account and profile, Gymora cloud backup, and other Gymora-hosted records associated with the account.
- Reply to any identity-verification message. Verification protects accounts from unauthorized deletion.
If the button does not open email: send your request to privacy@manus.im with the subject “Gymora account and associated data deletion request”. Include the email used to sign in and state that you want the Gymora account and all associated data deleted.
What happens to your data
Deleted and retained information
Data requested for deletion
- Gymora authentication account, account email, profile fields, and sign-in linkage.
- The Gymora cloud backup tied to the verified account, including backed-up plans, sessions, measurements, food and hydration logs, profile data, and preferences.
- Other Gymora-hosted service records attributable to the verified account, except the limited records described under retained data.
Data that may be retained
- Records required for legal, accounting, reporting, fraud-prevention, security, dispute, or legal-claim purposes may be retained.
- Those exception records are kept only for the minimum period required by the applicable obligation or legitimate purpose, then deleted or anonymized where appropriate.
- Gymora applies no additional app-specific retention period after a verified deletion request is completed.
Local device data is separate. Gymora cannot remotely erase data stored only on your phone or browser. In Gymora, open Settings → Data deletion & account requests → Delete local data on each device. This removes personal local state immediately; non-personal starter sample content and default settings are recreated.
Timing and consequences
Before you submit
- The in-app Delete cloud backup action permanently removes the current verified account’s backup immediately when the operation succeeds.
- Hosted account deletion begins after the request and any required identity verification. No additional Gymora-specific holding period is added.
- Deletion is permanent. Deleted cloud backups cannot be restored, and the closed sign-in identity can no longer be used to access its Gymora account data.
- Independent service providers may retain information under their own policies and applicable law.
